As busy professionals with three growing children, our Barrington Family needed a kitchen that would meet the needs of their family. The ideal kitchen, for them, required the use of the kitchen space as a multi-functional room. To achieve this goal, four separate areas where created, one for cooking, one for doing homework, a snack center for the children to come and go without interrupting the chef, Mom, and an eating area. The unique design incorporated all of the elements as well as providing a central gathering location for the family to come together.
